Medium concentration masks are intended for the administration of oxygen when precise control of inspired oxygen concentration is not required. During inspiration, the patient draws in gases from both the oxygen flowing into the mask through the hose and the ambient air through the openings on the sides of the mask. The oxygen concentration delivered is 40% to 60% depending on the patient's breathing. The masks are directly connected to a source of compressed air or oxygen. The products are intended for single use only.
